Frye Island, Maine is a little piece of heaven nestled near the eastern shore of Sebago Lake. It has been a haven for my family for the last 23 years. Only available for about six months of the year and only accessible by ferry, it is the sweetest and most peaceful place I've ever been.(F is also for FIRST - as in this is my FIRST ABC Wednesday post!)

It can be warm - in August. Right now it's covered under feet of snow and surrounded by a lake of ice...don't pack yet...!
